Pardoned for Innocence

Redefining the journey to justice.

Pardoned for Innocence is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to removing barriers to restitution and justice for individuals who have been wrongfully convicted.

The wrongfully convicted should be made whole.

However, laws throughout this country prevent full restitution barring a state or federal pardon — even when exonerations have been granted. Pardoned for Innocence aims to change this, beginning with North Carolina legislation.
